Today I had a meeting with Gayle Lambert, the associate publisher of Everyday Food. I met her the day I met Sally, so I thought it would be appropriate to meet with her as well.

I missed the 10am shuttle, so had to take a cab to the 42nd office. I don't know what it is, but i got in another accident. I asked some people at work and they said it never happens, what is this??? It has been two times for me now. This time wasn't as bad as the last, but still.

Once i got there, we discussed entry into the ad sales industry, traveling, the industry in general, etc. She has a lot of valuable information and advice!

Yesterday all of the interns were invited to go to the Modern Museum of Art (MoMA). I didn't get to go because I had so much work to finish. I was really excited about going, but oh well.

Since there were a few other interns that we unable to go on Thursday, we decided to go during the free hours tonight. There was some confusion on the subway (not my doing =]) and didn't really know where we ended up. We saw a sign that said MoMA, so we walked in. The place we walked into was free and had some interesting and modern art. There was an exhibit outside, so we asked how to get there. The guide said, oh that is a part of the MoMA. All of a sudden it struck me that we were at the American Muesum of Folk Art.

This was probably the funniest moment in my NY experience. It was such silly mistake. We even talked about the tickets and the tambourine with the logos of the Folk Art Museum and it didn't even occur to us we were in the wrong muesum.

It only took us an hour to view the Folk Art Museum, so we walked to the MoMA and looked around until closing. We didn't get very far because it was huge, but it was entertaining.

After the MoMA, we grabbed dinner at El Azteca in Hell's Kitchen. We were seriously there for 3 hours because the service was that bad. Among a grocery list of bad service aspects, the worse one was after waiting probably 45 mins for food, our server came up and said they lost our order. I may have understood if the place was busy, but it was only half full. At least the margaritas were good..

After the restaurant we met up with more interns at Olivias for awhile and then moved to the St. Marks Area. There we went to a Korean bar and enjoyed Watermelon Yugo. It was a mixture of fresh watermelon and Korean vodka.

I really like the St. Marks area. It reminds me of University City, a bunch of randomness. =) Oh St. Louis...I'll be back soon!
