Take me to Shea Stadium

Today is Andrew's birthday, so of course we had to go to a Cardinals vs. Mets game at Shea Stadium. It such was such an interesting adventure traveling from mid-town to queens. It was kind of a long train ride, but well worth it.

I bought the tickets sometime last week, so the decent cheap tickets were all sold out. Our seats weren't too bad though. They were actually conveniently placed since our seats were covered and it started raining.

Sadly, the Cardinals lost 9-1, but we had a good time. It is much different watching a game from the visitors point of view. People look at you crazy! The guide told me to "fly" to my seat since i was a cardinals fan.

After the game, Andrew and I went to a Thai resturant in Hell's Kitchen. I was able to make a dinner and a lunch out of it, so I am excited!

Eventually making it back to my apartment, I spent the evening working on my MSLO project and applying to a few internships in St. Louis for the fall.
