Today I went to Central Park since it was such a beautiful day. While it was very crowded, I found a quiet corner that was perfect for laying around and listening to my iPod.
After the park I decided to go grocery shopping. I have been buying lunch at work way too much lately. Grocery shopping was definately something I needed to do. Once I arrived to Union Square, I decided I did not want to go shopping right away. I decided to call AJ, another MSLO intern, since he lives in the area. We grabbed coffee at a local shop, discussed the greatness of our internships, and then he showed me around the Union Square area. Before the tour I loved the area, now I'm obsessed with it.
I had a great time with AJ, he has been so much fun to work with. We sit by each other everyday at work, it was so nice to see each other outside of the office. He mention he was confused because I was wearing nike shorts and a tank top and not heels and nice clothes. He never says anything, but I know he judges my outfits everyday I walk into the office. He is really really really into fashion. I asked him what he did all day and he said he watched all the Milan fashion shows online. Oh brother.
After our coffee, I went to Trader Joes and bought so much good stuff. I think I'm good until I leave. I really enjoy going out to eat, but sometimes it is nice to make my own food. I made lunch for tomorrow, I am so excited. Flax seed fusilli, sun-dried tomato chicken sausage, and pomodoro sauce. YUMMMMY!
