Today I really wanted to go to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Unfornately I got half way there and had some major train difficulties. There was supposedly a power outage and caused some re-routing. It would have been really hard for me to get there, so i decided to opt out.
Instead of the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, I met up with Andrew from work in SoHo. We went window shopping in all his favorite stores. This kid knows so much about fashion. I seriously felt like the boy while he was the girl shopping. I was completely clueless.
Andrew has worked for Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, and recently was accepted into an internship program with the Fairchild (?) group with Conde Nast for Fashion Week.
I've asked him to help me...but he responded, " i don't do women's fashion." ohhh AJW...
After parting with Andrew, I sat in Greely Square again and listened to my iPod. It was nice to just sit outside for awhile.
I then when back up to my apartment, chatted with Liz and Alexis, ate dinner, and tried to configure a plan for this week with the Timmermann girls. Nothing too exciting..
I am feeling overwhelmed with all of the things i want to do and see before I leave. I seriously only have 3 days left without my family. So much to do and so little time! This only means I'll have to come back to finish it all! =)

Hey love! you know me and my email! forever forgetting about it and always late, so I am just now getting to comment on your wonderful blog. I really enjoyed it throughout the summer and thought that it really helped us figure out what we wanted to do when we got to NY. I am also glad that you put your own twist to our tour of NY and showed us what NY really is all about and not just the main sites that everyone goes to (Brooklyn Bridge Park, Grimwaldi's, and Central Park). I really missed you this summer, but am extremely excited that you were able to branch out and find the part of yourself in NY that I always new was there, the part always looking for bigger and better things for yourself!
ReplyDeleteLove you always, your faithful cousin, friend, and roommate!
P.S. Hey you never know maybe I will go on a crazy internship next and you will be the one having to come visit me and heaven forbide if I have to be a tour guide!
Peace frogs!!
