Tuesday and Wednesday

hi everyone! i am sorry I haven't been updating too much lately. I have been consumed by work. I have gone in early, worked through lunch, stayed late, and worked from home all week. I seriously feel as if it is exam week or back in February when I was working on my John Foppe event.

The only exciting thing i have to report on is my Lunch and Learn today with Wenda Millard, co-ceo and president of media. She was amazing! She mentioned how Cathie Black, the president of hearst magazines, was her mentor. I enjoyed that story because after reading Cathie's book, Basic Black, I was so moved and inspired. Her book caused me start shaping my future by taking risky steps, like moving to new york, be proactive about my future, and being different.

I could definately tell Wenda had been mentored by Cathie, her stories and tidbits of advice have encouraged me to keep moving forward with my career and do what is truly best for me and what makes me happy.

I seriously could have listened to her all day. She has been so successful, driven, confident, everything, everyone hopes to be. Wenda has worked with companies such as Yahoo, double-click, adweek, so many, too many to even remember them all. After listening to her, I cannot understand why all of the "experts" are thinking MSLO is going to fail with co-ceos. With Robin and Wenda, it will only get better!

Carter is having lunch with her on Friday, I am so jealous. But good for her, she is so excited! I too will have high-profile meetings or lunches in the future. =)

Well, off to bed. Tomorrow i the big day. I am presenting to the other co-ceo, Robin Marino. I am worried my presentation is too boring, but oh well..i'll try to make the best out of it.
