Went to see Wicked today with Robin! It was sooo good! The set, costumes, dancing, music...everything was amazing! Thanks to Robin, our seats were amazing! I wish Kate would have been there!
After the show, Robin and I went to eat. We ate at an amazing Cuban restaurant called Guantanamera. It was amazing. Definitely my favorite restaurant so far. The drinks were good, dinner was excellent, and the caramel flan was the best I've ever tasted. If you ever go to see a show, this is definitely a must! They must have a decent happy hour and live music....a combination I am eager to experience.
After dinner I met up with Andrew, Ben, and Ben's friend Nick. I sat with them as they ate Vietnamese, oh how i wished I wasn't full from Cuban. It looked and smelled so good. Ever since I went to Pho Grand in St. Louis, I've been hooked on Vietnamese food. I did get a Vietnamese iced coffee, so the trip wasn't completely wasted.
After dinner we walked in the rain to McSourley's again. Ben wanted his friend to experience the pub. I've had the pleasure to enjoy McSourley's twice this week! Lucky me!
We then took a cab to the East Village (i think) and went to a comedy club. The show was great, a lot of comedians that have performed on late night talk shows and Comedy Central. The area seemed awesome, I will have to return to experience more of it.
Tonight was more of a low key night, which I was a big fan of. I have been going going going...I needed a break. Yay for being home around 2am! =)
I'm sorry this post was a little bit late. I honestly went back to the apartment and crashed. I'll try not to let it happen again mom! =)
