This morning I went to the SIRIUS radio station in Mid-town. Because we were MS interns, we were able to have a special tour. It was interesting to see all of the different booths ranging from Howard Stern to Martha Stewart.

Andrew and I were the last ones to arrive. Last time I let him guide us anywhere! We were late because he wasn't sure where to go...or didn't write the address down correctly. It was so embarrassing! It is comforting to know a true NY resident can get lost every now and then as well.

I had some of the best food today. Emeril was hosting an event in our building, so obviously there was food and of course there was leftovers! They were sooooooooooo good! Best shrimp ever! Much better than the shrimp I made myself last night that were way overcooked!

Today was a pretty exciting day for me. I saw Martha and a product photo shoot. Martha was reviewing new designs on the other side of my cube. I could hear everything. It was so interesting! As she walked away she said I want to say hi to a few people, I was hoping she would walk into my row, but didn't. She ran into someone and asked if they were going to her house tomorrow and she invited them to a pre-garden party. I wanted to jump up and say "I'LL GO!!" I decided not to...

I received an e-mail today about the intern lunch and learns. Martha has confirmed a date to present to us. I will be able to meet her on July 10th...the same day as the honey party! It is going to be such an amazing day. I'm already planning the perfect outfit! =) I have to look perfect for our meeting!

I worked through lunch yesterday so I could leave work early today. I had dinner with my uncle Gary tonight at Virgil's BBQ. While the food was good, the company was excellent. It was so good to see him. I really hope we can meet up again this summer. He is such a busy guy, I really don't know how he does it! He was saying how he has been on the road for five weeks! YIKES!

Gary has such an awesome career and life story, I could listen to him talk all night. I can only hope (and work really hard) to be a quarter as successful as him one day.

After dinner I walked back to my apartment and did some work on my computer. I am trying to design a networking business card for myself. I should have done it before moving here, but didn't get around to it. Joanna helped me with the design, I think it is going to look awesome. Don't worry, you will all get one to pass on to someone reallllllllllly important and influential in my career!

Andrew recommended this amazing website to me today. It is www.pandora.com. This website is a virtual, personal radio station. You just type in a song or artist and an algorithm will select songs within that genre. Alexis and I enjoyed a Dave Mathews Band station all evening. You should definately check this website out, the best thing is that it is free! Forget charging my iPod everyday for work, I'll just log into this website!

Off to bed, a big day tomorrow---James arrives! :)
