Tonight I went out with Sam, Andrew, Jeff, Kathryn, and a few other people from WashU. Kathryn, Andrew and I went to a bar on the Lower East Side. Kathryn was working at a photo shoot in the morning and was in the area. We then went to the Upper East Side to Sutton House to meet up with everyone else. I was at this bar last weekend with Joanna and her friends. I'm not a fan of going to the same places twice in NYC, but it was still fun to see everyone.
There are so many places to go and see here, I have a hard time rationalizing going somewhere twice unless I've tried all of the other options. Sutton House was a completely random, so I guess it is ok.
Unfortunately I did not have any cash tonight so I had to start a tab at the bar. In turn, I left my credit card there. I will have to go back in the morning.
The subway let me off in Time Square. I love looking at Times Square at night when there are very few people around. The lights are so much prettier. During the day and early evening there are wayyyy too many people around. If you ever have the chance, I would suggest walking around for awhile when it is "empty."
