Martha's in the house!

I arrived to work today and was instantly greeted with "we need to set up for a meeting, come help!" There were so many presentations and meetings today with Martha, the board, and retailers. The meeting I had to help set up for was the still photography one. Unfortunately I was not able to attend.

Even though I was not able to attend this one, I still sat through my fair share of meetings today. After setting up the photography meeting, i went to the weekly tuesday marketing meeting. Going back to my desk I worked on a product board of the recent bedroom line, performed authorized retailer research, and re-created an excel spreadsheet. The most exciting thing I did was sort through picture files of photos Martha took personally. She has gone an some awesome vacations and her home is beautiful!

As I said, Martha was in the Starrett Leigh building today. I did not see her, but Joanna did. I saw the room she was sitting in when I went to lunch, but didn't want to stare. Therefore, I did not see her face. I had lunch on the roof-top deck today. It was such an amazing view. Joanna's boss said Martha holds parties up there sometime. Hopefully she will throw one this summer!

There are a lot of great interns at MSLO. Hopefully we will get together outside of the office sometime. I think I will be going to an Ed2010 Intern Happy Hour with Marissa sometime soon. =)

After work I went to the gym for yoga. It was a different instructor today. I'm not sure if I liked him or not. He was really nice...just supertechnical. I do not know all of the poses names. It was hard to follow.

It is weird working 9-6. I didn't get home until 8:30 tonight. It is crazy how the whole night flies by.

Tomorrow I will start a new project at work. Mindi and Audrey said they have been working on a list of things for me to do since January. Seems as if I'll be busy! We also have an intern lunch, but I'll tell you more about that tomorrow. Day two was just as good as day one. I'm still trying to catch up on what is going on...I know I'll figure it out sooner or later.
